Piet Haasen

Piet has worked over 30 years in the fruit juice industry.

As Juice Sommelier traveling the world, selecting the best fruit raw materials, bringing the quality at a higher level for Riedel’s A-brands.

In 2000 taking over the role as Manager R&D, and in 2010 take an active role in sustainability, amongst others as member of the AIJN Sustainability expert group, and the Sustainable Juice Platform.

Driving sustainability striving for harmonization and standardization, whilst supporting (show-case) projects.

In 2017 Piet was one of the founders of the Sustainable Juice Covenant together with the AIJN, and IDH.

Piet is a graduate of HAS University of Applied Sciences.
