Renata Neperus

Renata Braga Neperus has a legal background and a passion for packaging and sustainability. Born in Brazil and in living in Sweden for the last 10 years, Renata has over 16 years of experience in legal, policy and sustainability matters in Europe and Latin America. While passionate about sustainability, Renata has a broad experience on matters as advertisement, food & product safety,  intellectual property, and renewable energy. Renata has 8 years of experience in packaging, and joined Elopak in 2021, as Senior Manager Advocacy & Regulatory Affairs and part of the Corporate Sustainability Team.

Renata leads Elopak’s advocacy efforts and represents Elopak at trade associations such as AIJN, Europen, and is a member of the Board of Directors of ACE, the Alliance for Beverage Cartons and the Environment, the European platform focused on advocacy and communication regarding sustainable attributes of  beverage cartons. Renata also coordinates Elopak’s efforts at 4evergreen, a cross-industry alliance of over 100 members representing the entire lifecycle of fibre-based packaging in which experts share knowledge to develop tools and guidelines for an even more sustainable fibre-based packaging sector.

Renata is happily married and has a daughter. Renata enjoys connecting with others and spending time in nature.
